 From the centuries farm building existed practically and seen as the best assets that humans can have and used as the best source of income.

The farm building means creating any structure which will be used for farming operations like storage, handling, production, display, agriculture, sheltering, raising, processing.

There are several types of farming like a barn, poultry, stalls, buildings for house family or worker, machinery.

·         Barn: the barn is used for store grains or animal food.

·         Poultry: poultry farm as we all know is built for raising hen, chicken, chicken coop, coop.

·         Stalls: stalls are mainly built for house horses or any other livestock.

·         Buildings for house families or workers: these buildings are built for households or house workers.

For farm building the structure of the farm is very important, the structure must be appropriate and need to be filling the requirement.

The location for farm buildings is influenced by some factors known as internal and external .in external factors are mainly natural like soil and climate conditions and the access facilities of the main road.

Internal factors are depended on the business type which is suitable for the farm.

Farming is categorized into three types:

1-      Arable farming: in arable farming farmer grows only crops like wheat, fruits, or vegetables rather than keeping animals. A farmer can grow and sell those crops as per his needs this is known as arable farming.

2-      Pastoral farming: most of the time pastoral farming takes place in such an area where the soil is not suitable for arable farming. In such farming, animals are reared for their products such as eggs, milk, or meat and wool.

3-      Mixed farming: mixed farming is where both arable and pastoral farming takes place. This farming type is most feasible economically.

Types of farm building:

Farmhouses: the farmhouse is the resident of the farmer, so it needs every facility that any urban house has. The farmer’s way of life and the farming pattern decides the features of the farmhouse. Normally farmers directly come at home from the farm with soiled clothes and boots.so the washroom must be in the entrances where the farmer can get freshen up and then enters the house.

Barns or shelters: these buildings are mainly used to raise and handle animals so here structure must be well designed there must have a proper partition for food and also it should be built where the cleaning process gets easier. With the rooftop as a shelter for animals.

Machinery and supply buildings: this building is designed to protect the machinery from the weather like rain. And surface should have in the pattern, so the machine can be taken out easily.

Crop storage building: this type of buildings is used to store grains. So, it is required to have waterproof rooftops. It must have steel cylindrical vessels to store the crops and prevent the crops from being moisture.

From every aspect, farming is the basic need for all of us, and buildings of the farm should be convenient as per the type of farm and farming.
